A Little About Dianna
Dianna earned her law degree from Dalhousie University while also completing her MBA. These degrees build on her honours Bachelor of Business degree from Bishop's University. Dianna has appeared in Nova Scotia Supreme Court, Small Claims Court, Traffic Court, Provincial Court, Family Court and participated in mediations and settlement conferences.
One of Dianna's goals is to help businesses avoid the legal pitfalls that trap many companies by working with the owners in an advisory capacity. Dianna's strong business background puts her in an excellent position to work with and advise small business owners. As these relationships develop, she will be able to grow with your company and support it as needed.
Dianna also has a strong focus on litigation, including contract disputes, debt collection and employment issues. Dianna prides herself on being able to cut to the chase and effectively resolve these matters, all the while taking the time to ensure her clients are comfortable with and understand what can be a trying and confusing process.
Dianna, originally from Antigonish, now lives in Halifax with her husband, young sons and two Golden Retrievers. Prior to returning to Nova Scotia to practice law, she lived and worked in Quebec, Toronto, San Diego and Phoenix.
Outside of the practice of law, Dianna is an outdoor enthusiast. She enjoys hiking, skiing, golf, softball, jogging, and swimming. She is also an active member of the Hammonds Plains baby/toddler group and a former Director on the Board of Directors of the St. Margaret Center.
