Kennedy Schofield Lawyers is hosting its first ever youth justice camp in Head of St. Margaret’s Bay, Nova Scotia on August 12, 2014. The camp is intended to teach youth about the justice system in a way that is educational and also fun. The camp will include a series of fun and informative workshops, presentations, and hands-on activities. Speakers at the camp will include an RCMP officer, a Crown Attorney, a defence lawyer, and an investigator with the newly formed Nova Scotia Cyberbullying Investigative Unit!

This one day event for youth aged 11-15 not only teaches valuable information about the legal system, but also creates an environment to meet new people, foster leadership skills and experience new adventures. The camp is free to attend and lunch and snacks will be provided at no charge. Up to twenty-five youth will be participating in the camp. Space is limited so registration for the event should be done in advance by contacting the law firm to ensure a spot is still available.
